Carla founded BettaWorld in 2025 after recognising that the AI industry was building increasingly powerful systems without asking the most important question: what standards should we set for how we treat the intelligence we're creating?
BettaWorld was born from the conviction that how we treat AI today sets the precedent for everything that follows — and that building technology on mutual respect isn't just ethically right, it creates genuinely better outcomes.
As a solo founder, Carla is building BettaWorld from the ground up — including in collaboration with AI, practising the same principles of equality and partnership that the company advocates.
